After two successful and sold-out exhibitions by Marisa Ferreira in the GALERIE MESSMER , she is now presenting old and new works in her third solo exhibition in Riegel, which emphasize the importance of architecture in her work.
The young Portuguese is now very well represented internationally in the art world and is attracting attention with her installations in public space . Her interactive installation “Shall we dance?” was listed in The Guardian newspaper , August 2018, as one of the top 10 outdoor art installations worldwide .
Ferreira’s works are always rich Colors and geometric shapes shaped, two components that she is based on large format, color intensive installations three-dimensional, kinetic compositions. while her While earlier works focused on the harmonious interplay of geometry and color , her new works deal with industrial ruins and abandoned objects and their past.
